Ocean Pollution Solutions

The OCEAN POLLUTION SOLUTION kit features microplastics collected from Kamillo Beach, Hawaii, enabling students to sort and describe the plastics polluting our oceans. It includes plastic items bitten by fish, illustrating real animal interactions, as well as fragments of fishing nets and various plastic items to highlight the diversity of ocean plastics. Students will learn about the types and abundance of ocean plastics, their impact on wildlife, and global solutions to combat this pressing issue.

SCIENCE AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

Our curriculum kits bring engaging, hands-on learning to classrooms, covering topics like ocean conservation, agriculture, and extinction events. Students explore real-world issues, from sorting ocean plastics to excavating dinosaur fossils, while learning about sustainability, ecology, and science. Each kit combines interactive activities with meaningful lessons that inspire curiosity and discovery.

Grow!

The GROW! curriculum kit engages students with science concepts related to agriculture, school gardens, and nutrient and water cycles. Students will create “SEED BALLS” using provided clay, compost, and seeds, enough for an entire classroom. These seed balls can be stored for months without germinating and can be planted in any garden to grow food wherever there is water and sunlight. This hands-on activity teaches valuable lessons about sustainability and the importance of agriculture.

Ecology and Extinctions

The ECOLOGY AND EXTINCTIONS curriculum kit includes a fragment of a real triceratops frill encased in simulated rock for students to excavate. It also contains 65 million-year-old fossil samples from Wyoming, representing the habitat when the meteorite caused the 5th mass extinction. Students will learn about mass extinctions, dinosaur biology, reconstructing ancient habitats from fossils, and evidence of modern extinction events. This hands-on kit brings the history of life on Earth to the classroom.
