Paleontologist Dr. Kraig Derstler is a vertebrate fossil expert and Professor Emeritus at the University of New Orleans. Recently returned from building dinosaurs at a new natural history museum in Abu Dhabi, he is now helping construct a triceratops skeleton in Santa Paula for the Ventura County Science Center. With decades of fieldwork in Wyoming and research spanning dinosaurs to ancient marine life, he brings deep scientific insight and engaging, real world discovery to public audiences.
