NURTURING MINDS, ONE SEED AT A TIME
Leap Lab Farm is a living classroom where science, sustainability, and creativity unite. From assembling dinosaur skeletons to demonstrating regenerative farming practices, we offer hands-on experiences that ignite curiosity, build essential skills, and deepen connections to the natural world, inspiring learners of all ages to explore and innovate.
Dino Barn

The Dino Barn is a working laboratory where fossil collections are curated and dinosaur skeletons are assembled into museum-quality exhibits. Students, volunteers, and visitors experience real paleontology up close, participating in fossil preparation and restoration. It’s a unique environment where ancient life is uncovered, preserved, and interpreted, combining hands-on science with educational exploration to connect people of all ages to Earth’s deep history in an unforgettable way.

Regenerative Farm
Our regenerative farm demonstrates best practices in sustainable agriculture, offering visitors hands-on experiences that highlight the importance of healthy soil, biodiversity, and eco-friendly farming techniques. Through interactive workshops, guests learn how thoughtful land stewardship can restore ecosystems, protect resources, and support long-term environmental health. The farm serves as a living example of how agriculture can be a force for renewal, resilience, and a more sustainable future.
Science Exhibits

Experience our outdoor Walking Timeline of Natural History and Model Solar System, where art, science, and storytelling come together. These exhibits offer a journey through Earth’s ancient past and the vastness of space, inspiring visitors to reflect on their place in the planet’s history—and their role in its future. Through interactive exploration, guests gain a deeper appreciation for the interconnected story of life, time, and the cosmos.

Workshops and Special Events
Leap Lab Farm hosts a variety of hands-on workshops and dynamic events throughout the year. Learn sustainable living through composting, permaculture, and beekeeping workshops—some in collaboration with UCLA students. Join dome-building and team-building sessions that foster collaboration and creativity. Special events like live music gatherings bring the community together, blending science, sustainability, and culture in a lively and inspiring environment for all ages.
Youth Programs

By private invitation, Leap Lab Farm welcomes a full school bus of students every day of the week. During their visit, students participate in hands-on science activities, learn farming techniques on our regenerative farm, and explore real fossils in the Dino Barn. Each experience is designed to spark curiosity, build practical skills, and create lasting memories, offering students a unique and engaging connection to science, sustainability, and natural history.
