Aerospace Design Experience

This exhibit explores the design processes behind American aviation and space innovations through 12 interactive stations. Featuring models, infographics, and artifacts, it traces the history of flight from the Wright Brothers’ 1903 breakthrough to modern advancements like SpaceX’s Starship and Mars rovers. Visitors can engage with the evolution of powered aviation and space exploration, gaining insight into the creativity and engineering that have propelled humanity from early flight to interplanetary missions.

Dinosaurs Alive

This exhibit celebrates 30 years of dinosaur discoveries, featuring real fossils from T-rex, triceratops, pachycephalosaurs, and an edmontosaur with preserved skin impressions. A slab from the K/T boundary captures the moment dinosaurs vanished, sparking discussions on extinctions, recovery, and modern lessons. The exhibit adapts to various spaces, ranging from a full-sized triceratops skeleton to a single T-rex skull with fossil limbs, offering a captivating exploration of Earth’s prehistoric past and its enduring relevance.

Biophilia: An Affinity for Life

Biophilia, popularized by E.O. Wilson, describes our innate affinity for life and natural systems, shaped through evolution. This exhibit explores the nine types of biophilia, from aesthetic appreciation of nature to symbolic and even negative reactions, like fear of spiders or snakes. Presented through art, including stained glass and bronze casts, it delves into our deep connection with nature. The exhibit is flexible, available in full or adapted to fit various spatial needs.
