SCIENCE ON THE MOVE

The Mobile Science Center delivers exhibits, programs, and activities directly to schools and events across Ventura County. Serving 226 schools in 19 districts, it ensures access to hands-on science experiences for those unable to visit our main center, bringing discovery and innovation right to their doorstep.

Science Delivered to the Classroom

The Mobile Science Center transforms a 24’ trailer into an engaging walk-through exhibit featuring themes like live arthropods, dinosaurs, and solar panels. It creates a “museum setting” at schools and public events, allowing entire schools to explore one classroom at a time. For those unable to visit Leap Lab in Santa Paula, the Mobile Science Center delivers hands-on science experiences directly to their communities.

INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS

Experience hands-on displays in science, from paleontology to robotics and energy.

ASSEMBLY PROGRAMS

Dynamic presentations with live demonstrations, captivating storytelling, and interactive activities.

Students work on electronic circuits, focused and engaged in the classroom.

CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES

Tailored lessons foster hands-on learning, critical thinking, and deeper exploration of science topics.

Conservation involves restoring habitats, enhancing protection, and creating strategies to monitor and enforce sustainable management within terrestrial and marine protected areas.

Restore the Biosphere

The Mobile Museum introduces the Ventura County Science Center and its guiding principles. By delivering hands-on science experiences to schools and communities, it sparks curiosity, fosters innovation, and invites deeper engagement with the mission shaped by our three pillars.
